They had married in The Little White Chapel in Vegas in April and wanted to celebrate this with family and friends.
So they chose the welcoming and picturesque setting of Dean Wood Golf Club, set in the heart of Lancashire between the rural villages of Orrell & Upholland.
We arrived at the venue to set up the Roulette & Black Jack tables and already the room had that ‘Vegas feel’ the centre pieces on the tables had different coloured feathers and they had ‘packs of cards and favours’ all tastefully done.
We set to work to transform the room ready for the ‘Bride & Grooms’ arrival.
The roulette table was polished and the chips were ready, black jack was set up, we put up 3 of our themed displays, ‘Las Vegas’, ‘Marilyn Monroe’, ‘James Bond’ and we were almost ready.
Our “showgirls” arrived and donned their black costumes and feathers, they would meet and greet the guests and give out the ‘Personalised Money’ we had printed with a picture of the happy couple at the ‘Little White Chapel’.
Matt & Nicola arrived we showed them our set up, they loved it, we gave them the 25 personalised casino chips, which are theirs to keep as a reminder of the night, the room looked amazing. The guests started to arrive, the showgirls gave out the money, chatted to guests and of course there were lots of picture, and the fun began.
The tables were open for 2 hours, everyone got into the spirit of the evening, Lilly, Matt & Nicola’s daughter and who was bridesmaid....... age 5 won £30,000 on the roulette – she put all her money on number 11 (her birthday) and it came out twice !
We had a couple of spot prizes and 2 very happy people won bottles of bubbly, and then our final winner won a bottle of Pink Champagne !
We had a fabulous evening with Matt, Nicola and their guests and it was a pleasure to be part of their special day.
