So he decided to have Pier Fun Casinos, Wigan to entertain all who attended – and entertain we certainly did.
This was the 2nd event we had done for the club and after a ‘fantastic’ evening was had by all, the 3rd event is already being planned.
We arrived early evening to set up the Casino; we provided 5 tables which consisted of 2 Black Jack, 2 Roulette & 1 Stud Poker. The tables were ready, each table having a bottle of bubbly as a spot prize, our Croupiers gave out the personalised fun money, ‘Bank of Mossley Hill Athletic Club’ the money looked fantastic, the room was transformed and the fun began.
The evening was amazing, everyone joined in and soon people were cheering as they won, lots of ‘oooohhs’ when they lost, the atmosphere was brilliant and this was no surprise as .Mossley Hill Athletic Clubs slogan is ‘In the heart of your community’ and that feeling of community spirit was all around as the evening progressed.
Everyone involved totally loved the evening and we were sad to leave once the tables closed, we left our lucky winner with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate. As we were leaving, Jeff thanked us once again for a brilliant evening saying that, and I quote ‘You are the Best’, we heard from Jeff around 1am as he rang again to thank us yet again for an amazing evening!!
